Morse Code Cuff
Morse Code Cuff
This listing is for one bangle, formed out of heavy gauge wire - hammered and forged by hand, by me in my home studio, using the international morse code symbols which will create a secret message and unique design on your bangle. The example shows "LOVE" - and i will stamp the word on the inside of the bangle if you like at no additional up charge.
Please limit the letters to about 6 to 10 or so, as the characters take up quite a bit of room. Send me a message if you are concerned about placement. There is a diagram of the international morse code in this listing (3rd pic)
Four Options for Bangles:
BRASS: This brass is not coated metal, so the natural aging process of the brass bracelet will result in a darker color over time. Yes it will "tarnish" - but it is also able to be brought back to shiny with simple maintenance: polish with extra fine steel wool, or use a brass cleaner.
NICKEL SILVER: is a copper alloy with nickel and often zinc. The usual formulation is 60% copper, 20% nickel and 20% zinc. Nickel silver is named for its silvery appearance, but it contains no elemental silver unless plated...it is much stronger than sterling, does not tarnish, and is more affordable option. It is also know as "german silver".
14k GOLDFILLED: is a high quality material, made by heat- and pressure-bonding a layer of karat gold to a brass core. I use 14/20 gold-filled wire which means it is made with 14-karat gold, and the gold represents 1/20th (or 5%) of the total weight of the material. it will not tarnish or wear off, it can be worn through almost anything and needs minimal care.
STERLING SILVER - i use .925 sterling for my bangles.
No two will ever look exactly alike, yet worn stacked , they look great.
