everyone has a story..and this is mine

....I have painted, crafted, designed my whole life. After years of creating hand painted furniture I started making my own jewelry. When friends began asking where I bought these things I decided to open an Etsy shop and NicWhims was born. The shop has evolved from a few evil eye bracelets to personalized gold bangles, coordinate necklaces, customized cufflinks, semi-precious beaded earrings, hand forged rings, and other one-of-a-kind pieces. I have been experimenting with different materials and have enjoyed collaborating with customers to create meaningful gifts.  

Most of the materials I use are handcrafted. I love the feeling of taking a spool of chain, some wire and creating something truly original and handmade.  My work looks great on its own, and even better stacked and layered. I get inspiration from the world around me and my collection is constantly changing. I enjoy hearing back from my customers on the impact the personalized pieces have and am always happy to get repeat orders. 

I am the only one creating the items in my shop and most items can be made to order. If you need a longer chain or a different color or want something personalized, let me know. I specialize in custom requests -- those are some of the most interesting things to work on.
